My Teachers Pay Teachers store is where I share the classroom resources I've built for gifted and high-ability students, along with plenty that works well for any curious learner. Everything is designed for real classrooms, whether you teach an inclusion GT class, a cluster group, or a general education room with a few gifted kids sprinkled in. Most of these resources live in the Teach It step, with ready-to-use units, reading response tools, and bundles that challenge gifted students without leaving the rest of your class behind.
My teaching style
My teaching has always been hands-on and inquiry-based. Once students have a solid understanding of the basics, I encourage them to ask their own questions and dig deeper, and I love it when that curiosity carries on long after a unit ends. My units are cross-curricular, so reading, writing, science, social studies, and math often overlap in ways that feel natural to students. I also weave technology into research and projects, because it's a tool both students and teachers need to feel comfortable using.
My focus has always been gifted and high-ability learners, along with high achievers who are ready for more. When I design a unit, assignment, or activity, I'm thinking first about the experience students will have while they learn.
